Speaking and Presentations
Gates Thomas has taught for 20 years at Berklee College of Music in Boston — the world’s first institution for the study of popular music — and continues to serve as Professor of Contemporary Writing and Production, teaching all his courses remotely. He has given multimedia presentations on musical and historical topics at George Washington's Mount Vernon, the New School University, the University of Northern Iowa, the Davenport Public Library, the Putnam Museum and Science Center, the German-American Heritage Center, and the Unitarian-Universalist Congregation of the Quad-Cities.
